No video update today, or probably the rest of the week. They are very fun to do, but also very time consuming. I've got company in town until Sunday night, so I have to entertain them instead you, my adoring fans...LOL!

Anyway...onto the Threshers news, which is why you are really here.

The Clearwater Threshers downed the Jupiter Hammerheads 5-1 on Monday night behind a superb pitching effort from starter Andrew Carpenter. Carpenter threw a complete game giving up just one run on a solo home run in the seventh inning. In all he surrendered just four hits, walked none and struck out seven in the game.

Michael Taylor and Gus Milner were both hot for the offense. Taylor picked up the team's only extra base hit in the game while going 2-4 with 2 RBIs, and a run scored, and Gus Milner was 3-4 on the night.

The win gave the Threshers two in a row, something the team has not done often this season. They'll try to make it three in a row as they face the Hammerheads again on Tuesday.
