Doug Morales - 1B HT: 6-0 WT: 180 RESIDES: Masay, Nicaragua OBTAINED: Signed as amature free agent 6/4/03. OTHER: Doug spent two seasons with the Phillies in the VSL, and in 2005 was with the GCL Phillies. Doug had a short stint with the Threshers in late April and early May 2006 as a fill-in while Matt Thayer was on the DL. Upon Matt's return to the lineup Doug was returned to extended Spring training. In 2007 he was at Lakewood where he appeared in 104 games posting a .250 BA.
